If the carrier has a FreightValidate invalid status it will go to "Review"

Invalid Status

What criteria must a carrier meet to achieve "FreightValidated" status?

To achieve "FreightValidated" status, a carrier must:

To attain "FreightValidated" status, entity must pass legal compliance assessment, has active MC & DOT Authority, meets the minimum requirements of 49 CFR including but not limited to part 390.5T (Principal Place of Business), Complies with Public Law 112-141 (including para 32103(D)(i) regarding disclosure of affiliation with other Operating Authority Certificate Holders and Applicants)and other state and federal regulations. The Risk Assessments have been automatically updated to proactively protect MyCarrierPortal customers. If you go to your Risk Assessment (should you have your own company version) or if you utilize the Industry Standard version, you can simply go to "Risk Assessments" in the left hand toolbar.

Navigate to the bottom section called "MyCarrierProtect."

There, you will see two new additions regarding FreightValidate's statuses.

Keep in mind, per FreightValidate standards, when someone is in violation of the law, that is how they will be determined as "invalid." It is HIGHLY recommended to keep this at a "fail". However, should you choose to modify this option, at minimum, you are advised to have it at at "review" status.

Once reviewed, you will be able to send out the packet as you normally have done in the past.
